Daniel Hackett scored 19 points of his 25 points in the last quarter and with two seconds left on the clock he gave the crucial 83-81 win to EA7 Milano over Bayern Munich. It was a tense game with Bayern’s coach Svetislav Pesic getting ejected.

With one and a half minute to go the score was tied at 79 after 1/2 free throws by Daniel Hackett, but Heiko Schaffartzik turned the ball over in the next possession and Hackett gave a two points lead to EA7 Milano (81-79). Bo McCalebb also with two free throws tied the score (81-81), David Moss and McCalebb missed their next shots and with just two seconds left Hackett gave the win to EA7 Milano. McCalebb tried to steal the game with a buzzer beater, but his three pointer didn’t go in.

Joe Ragland added 14 points for the winners and Linas Kleiza also contributed 13. Schaffartzik had 15 points for Bayern which reacted, facing Top16 elimination but in the end couldn’t avoid it. On the contrary Milan is now the big favorite for the fourth spot of the group and the last open Top16 ticket.
