Fenerbahce/ Ulker exploded in the third quarter, Panathinaikos lost Diamantidis due to injury and the Turks got the big 84-62 win, which also makes them the big favorite for the second place of Group C.

To be exact Fenerbahce has one win more than Panathinaikos with two games to go in regular season and they also have the tie breaking advantage after covering the points difference from the Greeks’ 18 points win in Athens. Andrew Goudelock with 16 points on 4/5 threes and back to back shots in the third quarter was the leader of the winners. Semih Erden took advantage of Mavrokefalidis and Batista’s absences and he finished the game with 14 points and 7 rebounds.

A.J.Slaughter with 20 points was the only player of Panathinaikos in double digits and coach Obradovic can smile, not only for the result, but because his team won by playing smart.
