Despite missing injured point guard Taylor Rochestie, Nizhny got the road win over Anadolu Efes and still hopes, while Alba Berlin also with a road win against Limoges sealed its place in Top16.

Niznhy Novgorod managed to stay alive in the race for Top16 after getting the 65-61 road win over Anadolu Efes in Istanbul. In what was a close game, the guests got a small lead since the end of the first half and managed to keep it by tooth and claw almost until the end. The biggest lead of the game was eight points (54-46), but two minutes before the end Efes got a one point advantage (60-59). Nizhny answered with a three (62-60) by Dimitriy Khostov. Dario Saric had 1/2 free throws (62-61) and one more three by Khostov (65-61) decided the final score.

On the contrary, despite missing Reggie Redding, Alba Berlin had total control of the game at Limoges and got the 71-65 win without letting the hosts be a real threat. Alba dominated the paint with a better two pointers percentage and 40 rebounds against 24. James McLean with 18 points was the top scorer of the winners in a game that was more about defense.
