Zalgiris prevailed over Alba Berlin

It wasn’t easy at all, but in the end Zalgiris Kaunas got the 75-62 win over Alba Berlin. The game was close from wire to wire, the guests cut the lead of Zalgiris to two (53-51) with 8 minutes left, but couldn’t do much more.

Once again James Anderson (16 p., 6 r., 3 as.) was the leader of the Lithuanians and Arturas Gudaitis was the x-factor, scoring 11 points with just one missed free throw. Also captain Paulius Jankunas (14 p., 6 r., 4 as.) made big plays in the last quarter and decided the outcome. Alba trailed by four (64-60) with less than three minutes on the clock, but couldn’t get closer on a mediocre shooting night which ended with a negative offensive record for them in this season’s Euroleague.
