With the first half ending and Unicaja Malaga leading with 49-34, Anadolu Efes had a mountain to climbed. However the players of Duda Ivkovic did it in just a quarter (23-8 partial score in the third) and survived for the 74-70 win.
The trio of Stratos Perperglou (13 p.), Matt Janning (17 p.) and Dontaye Draper (13 p. 6as.) with his great defensive effort turn around the game. The hosts had a 67-59 lead with 5 minutes left on the clock after a partial 33-10 run, but Unicaja reacted and made it a one point game (67-66) after two minutes. Still Unicaja couldn’t get closer and Draper with one minute left made the most important three of the game (74-70) which was the knock out blow.
