No matter what, Barcelona against Panathinaikos will always be a big game. In the end the Catalans got the 80-76 win with Justin Doellman making a crucial play and Marcelinho Huertas scoring 22 points and making 6 three pointers in the third quarter.

Panathinaikos led by double digits (35-25) in the first half, which ended with a 37-37 tie. The situation was different in the third quarter with the hosts having also a double digits lead (63-53), but in the end everything was decided in details. DeMarcus Nelson cut the lead of Barca to one (77-76) after 6-0 run, Justin Doellman answered with a goal foul (80-76) and that play sealed the outcome as both teams couldn’t score in the remaining minute.
