Despite losing Oliver Lafayette and Brent Petway to injuries during the game, Olympiacos managed to get the 74-68 road win over Fenerbahce/ Ulker and remains on top of Group F together with CSKA Moscow.

The Reds despite trailing by seven (18-11) before the end of the first quarter, managed to get a 10 points lead (46-36) with the first shot of the second half, a three pointer by Tremmell Darden. Fenerbahce did not give up and got the 59-56 advantage with 8 minutes to go after a three by Bogdan Bogdanovic. However 84 seconds before the end, the score was tied at 68 with both teams making big plays. However the biggest came from Vasilis Spanoulis with a three 19 seconds remaining on the clock. Olympiacos ended the game with a 6-0 run and remained perfect.

Spanoulis in total had 16 points, Matt Lojeski numbers were better (18 p., 8 r.) and Andrew Goudelock also was a one man offense with 23 points on 9/20 shots. Ιn the press conference Fenerbahce/ Ulker’s coach Zeljko Obradovic complained for a foul to Nikos Zisis which wasn’t called after the big three pointer of Spanoulis.
