Galatasaray played without Carlos Arroyo, Ender Arslan and its fans, practically had a rotation of eight players and Alba Berlin took advantage of this situation, getting the 75-65 win in Istanbul and a tie with the Turks at 2-2 in the standings.

The score was 62-60 for the guests with four minutes left, but Galatasaray couldn’t get any closer, as Alba got a ten points advantage with a 8-0 run (70-60). With 24 second on the clock, the hosts made a valiant effort and thanks to a turnover by Vojdan Stojanovki, Zoran Erceg made it a five points game (70-65). That was the best they could do, despite one more turnover by Jamel McLean with 17 seconds left. Erceg missed his next shot and Alba had the control in the remaining seconds. Reggie Redding with 16 points and 5 rebounds was the best of the winners.
