Three months after the first tip off, Aris (9-5) beat PAOK 62-57 in the derby of Thessaloniki and left him third (11-3) in the Greek league standings, behind Panathinaikos (12-2) who is alone in the second place.
The only game of the Greek league this weekend was Aris-PAOK, which was interrupted in the second gameday of the league, three months ago. Both teams had bad shooting (Aris had 36% with 23/63 shots and PAOK 33% with 19/58).
The hosts controlled the pace of the game and were leading since the first minutes. Reed (16p.), Vezenkov (11p., 8 reb.), Naymick (photo, 7p., 10 reb.) and Adegboye (11 p.) were the best for the winners. The next Saturday will be held the derby of Thessaloniki for the second round, PAOK-Aris.
