Laboral Kutxa played with fire, but managed to prevailed over Unicaja Malaga (79-74) in a game which was decided in the last minute and gave the Basques the chance to stay in the play offs race.
Despite a 27-21 start in the first quarter for the hosts, Unicaja stayed in the game and with one minute left the guests trailed by four points. However that proved to be the scenery for a big three by Darius Adams (79-72) which practically decided the outcome. The American guard with 20 points was the leader of the winners and Unicaja, despite being the leader in Liga Endesa, is in real trouble in Malaga.
