The teacher and the student will meet once more in a final, this time in the Turkish Cup. Anadolu Efes of coach Dusan Ivkovic beat in the semifinal Dogus Darrusafaka and will play against Fenerbahce/ Ulker of Zeljko Obradovic in the final.
Efes prevailed with 88-73 with Stratos Perperoglou being again the top scorer (15 p., 9 r.) and three more players scoring in double digits. Two former Efes players, Jamon Gordon (14 p.) and Jordan Farmar (10 p.) tried, but couldn’t pose a real threat. The winners led for most of the game and had a double digits cushion for most of the second half.
