Khimki remains the team to beat in VTB, after prevailing over Lokomotiv Kuban with 85-78. After a close game which was decided in the last quarter, Khimki remains on top of the standings with a 18-2 record, over CSKA Moscow (17-3).
Tyrese Rice once again was the leader of the winners with 19 points and 5 assists. Paul Davis was a force in the paint (16 p., 4 as.) and Petteri Koponen also had 16 points and a key three pointer in the end.
Antony Radolph had 23 points and 8 rebounds for Lokomotiv, Derrick Brown also contributed (19 p., 6 r.) and Malcolm Delaney had 12 points and 5 assists.
