Thanks to a monster game from Dyson (27), Logan (25) and Sanders (20), Sassari beat Armani Milan (101-94) and won the italian cup for the second consecutive year.
Sassari controlled the game from the first minute, getting an early lead by 18 (33-15, 8′), but Armani having Ragland and Brooks firing at all cylinders cut the deficit to 4 (51-47) at halftime. Sassari had a plan B for this comeback. During the third period Shane Lawal became the key factor and Sassari had double digit lead again (66-54, 24′).
Armani came back again with a big triple from Melli (97-91, 39′) but it was too late.
