Without Kinsey and Parakhouski Nizhny tried, but couldn’t be a real threat to Fenerbahce/ Ulker in Istanbul. The Turks got the 92-79 win and continues the race for the home court advantage in the play offs.
Nemanja Bjelica was great with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, leading a balanced team effort in both offense and defense. Ricky Hickman and Jan Vesely added 13 points each for the winners, while Trey Thompkins had a double double (22 p., 11 r.) for the guests which was not enough. After a competitive first quarter, Fenerbahce got a comfortable double digits lead and the best Nizhny could do, was cutting it to five points (60-55) in the third.
