Eurohoops aims to bring you all domestic league action all weekend long (and not just then) – Just hover over the national championships section on the top of the page to pick your favorite league.
This week was full of action all across the globe and the Top Five features players from five leagues: German, French, ABA, Italian and Turkish League. Two ‘Big Men’ along with three guards might as well make a perfect starting lineup.
Here are this week’s Top Five:
John Bryant (Giessen 46ers) – easyCreditBBL
Giessen 46ers didn’t succeed in stopping medi Bayreuth’s winning streak (95-90) but John Bryant certainly put up a fight. The 31-year-old scored 29 points while adding 12 rebounds, three assists, and two steals. He shot 9/11 from inside the arc and finished the game with an index rating of 39 – highest one on this week’s Top Five.
Miro Bilan (Lyon-Villeurbanne) – Jeep ELITE
Lyon-Villeurbanne continued in a good rhythm against Chalons-Reims as well and Miro Bilan was the one leading them to a dominant 11-2 record in French League. The 29-year-old Croatian center registered a double-double with 32 points and 13 rebounds along with two blocks. Impressive enough but add to that 14 drawn fouls and an index rating of 34 as well.

Scott Bamforth (Dinamo Sassari) – LegaBasket
Scott Bamforth and Sassari faced the EuroLeague powerhouse Olimpia Milano and they didn’t scare. Although Milano managed to just barely get away with a one-point win after overtime, the hosts left a good expression and Bamforth earned his place in this week’s Top Five with 32 points, four rebounds, and three assists while shooting 5/9 from deep for a 31 index value.
