EA7 Milano needed a win by 11 points in Istanbul in order to hope for the play offs and had a 55-44 lead in the 25th minute. However at the end of the game, Anadolu Efes got the 86-78 win thanks to the dinamic duo of Nenad Krstic and Thomas Heurtel.
Both had a great game and exploded in the third period with Heurtel scoring 16 of his points. The French guard finished the game with 26 points on 6/8 threes and the Serbian center had 22 points and 5 rebounds. Alessandro Gentile and Marshon Brooks scored 17 points each, but couldn’t make a difference during the big come back of Efes. EA7 Milano had a great start in the first quarter (24-13), however it was far than enough.
