The last game of Top16 ended with one of the title contenders taking an easy win. Real Madrid dominated the second half and got the 99-83 win over Zalgiris Kaunas with Sergio Rodriguez leading the way.
“El Chacho” finished the game with 16 points and 7 assists, reminding every one his splendid last MVP caliber season. Captain Felipe Reyes added 17 crucial points and Jaycee Carroll also scored 16 points on 3/4 threes. Zalgiris had a 43-40 lead in the half, after scoring 31 points in the second quarter, but couldn’t keep up. James Anderson with 17 points and 5 rebounds was once again the leader of the Lithuanians who overachieved in this Euroleague season.
