Matt Janning had the chance to be the hero in Istanbul and did exactly that. The American sharp shooter completed his big game with the buzzer beating winning three pointer (75-72) as Anadolu Efes beat Real Madrid.

The Spaniards still have a 2-1 lead in their playoffs series, but Efes after getting near the break last week in Madrid, proved that it will fight until the end. Matt Janning had in total 21 points on 5/7 threes, Nenad Krstic with 17 points and 7 rebound was also great and two young guns did their best. Dario Saric finished the game with 7 points and 15 rebounds, while Cedi Osman (photo) had 8 points, 5 rebounds and played great defense on Rudy Fernandez. Sergio Rodriguez had 17 points for Real, Sergio Llull had 15 and Rudy 12 points but on 3/10 shots.

Coach Pablo Laso decided not to use in this game Greek center Giannis Bourousis who was stayed out of the 12 active players roster. Real managed in the last quarter to came back from a 10 points deficit and tie the score at 72 with a three by Jaycee Carroll with 8 seconds to go. However, the night belonged to Janning and Efes.
