Panathinaikos wanted to sign also Kostas Kaimakoglou after the end of his season in the VTB League with Unics Kazan. But the Greek forward is on vacations and doesn’t want to discuss any offer.
Three years after his departure, the Greek forward informed Panathinaikos’ interest to wear again the Green shirt, as onsports.gr revealed.
Although, Kaimakoglou has valid contract with the Russian team also for the next season and as he answered he is on vacations and doesn’t want to play in any other team this season.
In the same time, the “Greens” are too close to finalize the deals with Kenion Martyn and DJ Cooper to complete its roster. According to the Greek league’s bylaws, Panathinaikos has the right to change two of its foreign players but can register as many Greek players as wants until the start of the playoffs.
