At the only Game 5 of the BEKO BBL first playoffs round, we had a road win with Ulm prevailing at Bonn (86-79) and qualifying to the semifinals against Brose Baskets, the top team of the regular season.
Former Galatasaray member Ian Vougioukas with 18 points and 7 rebounds led the winners. It remains to be seen what the Greek center and the rest of Ulm can do against one of the main title contenders. The other semifinal couple is Alba Berlin vs Bayern Munich.
