The second break in Legabasket’s playoffs is a fact. After Sassari, also Brindisi got a road win and tied the series against Reggio Emilia at 1-1, while Venezia got the 2-0 over Cantu.
With six players scoring in double digits, Brindisi prevailed (74-71). Pullen and Mays with 14 points each were the top scorers for the winners. Polonara with 24 points and Lavrinovic with 19 points tried their best for the hosts. Venezia had the control of the game against Cantu for three quarters and got the 77-72 despite a come back of the guests in the last period, which had a partial score 34-14 for Cantu. Three players of the guests, Feldeine (24 p.), Johnson-Odom (25 p.) and Metta World Peace (11 p.) scored 60 of the total 72 team points.
