Trabzonspor got the 2-0 sweep in the Turkish league first round of the playoffs over Dogus Darussafaka, while Turk Telekom beat at home Anadolu Efes and tied the series at 1-1.
Trabzonspor got the 78-71 win over Dogus Darussafaka which had big ambitions, it’s considered a candidate for a Euroleague wildcard, but couldn’t get a win in the playoffs. Novica Velickovic scored 21 points for the winners. On the other series Turk Telekom prevailed by five points (88-83) over Anadolu Efes, despite 22 points from Nenad Krstic.
