Galatasaray is down but in no way they are out. Sinan Guler playing with seven stitches, made the winning basket with 5 seconds to go and Galatasaray got the 70-69 (63-63) win over Fenerbahce in overtime.
The series between the two teams is now a 1-1 tie. Andrew Goudelock missed the last shot of the game and Guler was the hero of the day. He continued to play after bumping heads with Nikos Zisis. Guler needed stitches and it has to be noted that he went to the bench of Fenerbahce to shake hands with Zisis after the incident, acknowledging that it was just an accident. During the game Micov was also injured, Pocius and Ender Arslan were also hurt, but Galatasaray stood its ground until the end.
