Panathinaikos once again was mature in the crucial moments against PAOK, got the 75-61 win and the 2-0 lead in the semifinals of the Greek leagues playoffs. The guests got a 36-32 lead in the half after a 17-0 run, but it was not enough.

The partial score in the second half was 43-25 for the hosts. Loukas Mavrokefalidis had a double double (16 p., 13 r.), Antonis Fotsis added 14 points and youngster Lefteris Bochoridis scored 11. Marc Carter had 20 points for PAOK and he seemed to be the only player believing in the win until the end.
