The Liga Endesa playoffs started with a break, as Valencia got the road win against Bilbao. On the contrary Barcelona and Unicaja Malaga got the job done at home.
Valencia prevailed by 16 points (91-75) and finishing the first and second half the right way. After the first 20 minutes the guests had a 46-38 lead and never looked back. Pau Ribas and Sam Van Rossom with 13 points each led a balanced team effort.
Unicaja beat Laboral Kutxa (69-55) and Barcelona got the 77-55 triumph over Juventut. Unicaja had the game in the bag after three quarters (61-35) and relaxed in the final period. Vladimir Golubovic with 9 points and 13 rebounds had the best ranking (20) of the night. Barca was too much for Juventut, Ante Tomic (14 p., 7 r.) and Justin Doellman (12 p., 9 r.) led the party and Mario Hezonja once more didn’t played.
