Reggio Emilia beat Venezia 72-69 on road and tied the semifinal series at 1-1 in Legabasket. Darjus Lavrinovic was excellent with 22 points and 5 rebounds.
In Game 1 Venezia prevailed easily over Reggio Emilia but Game 2 was completely different. The visitors had in great night the veterans, Darjus Lavrinovic and Drake Diener (14 p., 6 reb.) who led their team to a huge lead 66-54 (35′).
Venezia didn’t want to surrender so easily and came back after a great 11-0 run (65-66, 39′) thanks to Hrvoje Peric (22p.) but couldn’t finalize the job and eventually Reggio Emilia tied the series.
