Virtus Bologna defeated Virtus Roma 97-68 in Round 17 of the Italian LegaBasket and exceeded its winning streak to four games.
Kyle Weems and Giampaolo Ricci led the winners with 14 and 12 points each, while Samuele Telesca posted a game-high performance of 16 points for Roma.
The Bologna side seized control right from the first half (50-29 at halftime) and kept expanding their lead in the second, to move on with another victory in the domestic championship.
Earlier this weekend, Olimpia Milano edged Treviso.
Virtus Bologna still sits on top of the Italian League standings with a 15-2 record, followed by Sassari (14-3), Brescia (12-5) and Olimpia Milano (11-6).
