Brescia shocked Olimpia Milano and prevailed over with a 78-72 victory in Round 19 of the Italian LegaBasket.
In a game that was hanging on a thread, Abass pushed the home team to a five-point lead (with less than 30 seconds remaining in the game), while Vitali put the cherry on top for Brescia’s win.
DeAndre Lansdowne paced Brescia with a game-high 25-point performance, while Keifer Sykes posted 18 points for the visiting side.
After 19 weeks of action, Virtus Bologna sits on top of the standings with a 16-2 record, followed by Sassari (15-3), Brescia (13-5), while Brindisi and Milano fall to an 11-7 tie for the fourth position.
