The Italian League will cancel its 2019-20 season without proclaiming a champion, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
There are no sanitary and technical conditions to resume activity in the short term while it’s questionable if it could be done later down the road. The focus will be shifted towards 2020-21 season and when and how would be the best way to start with basketball activities.
This decision is expected to get unanimously accepted in the next few days, especially if the Italian authorities extend its measures against the coronavirus outbreak.
