A solid fourth quarter created separation for the hosts with Czech guard Tomas Kyzlink going for a game-high 20 points. Josh Bostic added 16 points and Frank Elegar an 11-point, 14-rebound double-double.
On to the opposition, Dusan Ristic produced a team-high 14 points.
Openjobmetis Varese – Segafredo Virtus Bologna 73-85
A masterful showing by Milos Teodosic helped his side grab the away win. He scored 21 points, dished out seven assists, and pulled down five rebounds. Julian Gamble contributed with a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double.
Luis Scola’s latest heroics made up 23 points but fell shy of the “W”.
Fortitudo Lavoropiu Bologna – AX Armani Exchange Milano 71-82
Fortitudo put on a valiant effort, bouncing back multiple times throughout the game but Olimpia Milano managed to hold them off.
Shavon Shields scored 17 and Datome Luigi 16 points for the victors while Kyle Hines logged a double-dobule with 12 points and 11 boards.
Pietro Aradori had a great game on the other side with 24 points on 4-5 from deep. Todd Withers added 16 and Ethan Happ ten points.
Umana Reyer Venezia – Banco di Sardegna Sassari 99-92
The winning side’s captain Michael Bramos led the charge with 28 points on 6-10 from deep followed by Isaac Fotu with 17 and Stefano Tonut with 15 points.
For Sassari, Eimantas Bendzius banked 29 points on 9-10 from the field including 3-3 for three while Miro Bilan helped with 16 points.
Virtus Roma – Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro 69-84
Tyler Cain logged a double-double with 16 points and ten boards for the victors while Frantz Massenat had 17 points and Justin Robinson 16.
For Roma, Tommaso Baldasso scored 17 and Anthony Bean 16 points.
Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste – Happy Casa Brindisi 76-79
D’Angelo Harrison led the winning side with 18 points followed by Nick Perkins with 16. Derek Willis logged ten points and 14 boards.
On the opposing side, Davide Alviti scored 14 points in addition to Marcos Delia’s 13 and Andrejs Grazuls’ 12 points.
Dolomiti Energia Trentino – Vanoli Basket Cremona 85-83
JaCorey Williams was the main reason Trentino managed to overcome Cremona as he led the effort with 24 points 13 rebounds.
Victor Sanders scored 16 and Toto Forray ten points. For Cremona, Daulton Hommes banked 22 and Giuseppe Poeta 14 points,
De’ Longhi Treviso – Acqua S.Bernardo Cantu 89-82
The latest stellar performance by David Logan led his side to 3-3. The 37-year-old guard poured 23 points in the game played on November 18.
Jazz Johnson put up 24 points in a losing effort.
