Olimpia Milano keeps on its winning streak in Italy after defeating Varese and expanding its record to 10-0, as Sassari handed Virtus Bologna a loss on the road to end a two-game losing streak.
The game between Virtus Roma and Trieste scheduled for Gameday 10 has been postponed.
Germani Brescia – Fortitudo Lavoropiu Bologna 99-85
Drew Crawford scored 24 points and T.J. Cline added 19 for the winning team jumping to 3-7.
Ethan Happ with 23 points and Wesley Saunders with 20 stood out for the visitors.
Virtus Segafredo Bologna – Dinamo Sassari 78-83
Sassari bounced back from a two-game losing streak to take down Virtus on the road. Eimantas Bendzius led all scorers of the winners with 22 points, Marco Spissu added 19 points and Miro Bilan had a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Stefan Markovic posted 15 points for the hosts, Kyle Weems had 14, as Milos Teodosic and Vince Hunter tapped 11 points apiece.
Reyer Venezia – Trento 71-79
Gary Browne paced Trento to this road victory with 24 points, followed by JaCorey Williams who added 22 points.
Mike Bramos led Venezia with 19 points and 6 rebounds, while Austin Daye and Isaac Fotu posted 14 points each.
Varese – Olimpia Milano 70-96
Zach LeDay helped Olimpia Milano reach its 10th victory in LegaBasket with 18 points, Kevin Punter registered 15 points as Vladimir Micov and Kaleb Tarczewski posted 12 points each.
Luis Scola tapped a game-high for the hosts with 23 points and Toney Douglas had 20 points and 6 assists.
Treviso – Pesaro 91-81
Michał Sokołowski paced Treviso to a much-needed victory with 23 points, 7 rebounds and David Logan tapped 18 points. Pesaro suffered its first loss after a four-game winning streak despite huge performances by Marko Filipovity and Justin Robinson who both tapped 22 points.
Brindisi – Cantu 85-71
Nick Perkins helped Brindisi grab the win with a double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Darius Thompson posted 14 points. Jazz Johnson paced all Cantu scorers with 17 points, Sha’markus Kennedy and James Woodard had 14 points each.
Reggio Emilia – Cremona 56-85
Daulton Hommes and Jarvis Williams kept Cremona on the right track, posting 19 and 18 points respectively, while the latter also added 10 rebounds. Marcus Lee finished the game with a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side, while on the other end of the court, Brandon Taylor had 15 points.
