Olimpia Milano dominated Reggio Emilia 80-52 on Thursday to advance to the 2021 Italian Cup semifinals.
Zach LeDay and Kevin Punter led the winners with 15 points respectively, as Milano stayed in charge of the score right from the first period to grab an easy win. Jakub Wojciechowski followed with 10 points and 5 rebounds and Kyle Hines added 8 points.
On the other end of the court, Filippo Baldi Rossi paced all players for Reggio Emilia with 13 points and 6 rebounds.
Mike Bramos’ 23-point performance along with 13 rebounds paced Reyer Venezia to an 89-82 win against Virtus Bologna to join Olimpia Milano in the semifinals. Stefano Tonut added 22 for Venezia, while Milos Teodosic led Virtus with 15 points.
Two more contests will take place Friday: Brindisi vs. Trieste and Sassari vs. Pesaro.
