The reigning champs Dinamo Sassari lost (79-78) in the first official game in Italy by Regio Emilia and missed the chance to win the Italian Supercoppa.
The game was tight and none could take a big lead. Dinamo Sassari could win the game in the last seconds but Eyenga missed the last shot and Regio Emilia will play in the final of the Italian Supercoppa.
Stefano Gentile (15p with 3.4 3ps), Darius Lavrinovic (14p), Polonara (12p, 9 rebs) and Aradori (11p) led Regio Emilia to the big win, while Eyenga was the leading scorer for Dinamo Sassari with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
