Regio Emilia won the Italian Super Coppa after its win 80-68 over Milano. Stefano Gentile (14p) and Rimantas Kaukenas (12p) alongside with the MVP of the game Amedeo Dela Valle (13p, 4 as) led their team to the big victory.
This day was historical for Reggio Emilia because this was its first title in Italian basketball, of course apart from the Eurochallenge. Milano on the other hand made some impressive moves during the summer but lost one more title.
