Nicolo Melli had everything under control as he led Olimpia Milano to a 79-73 road win against Trento in the Italian League.
Melli banked in 27 points including the five crucial points that pushed Milano to a 79-70 lead that sealed the deal, holding off Trento’s last comeback push.
Tommaso Baldasso helped with 16 and Devon Hall with 11 points. On Trento’s side, Cameron Reynolds was the top scorer with 19 points while JaCorey Williams added 13 and Toto Forray ten points.
With this win, Olimpia Milano improved to 15-2 at the top of the standings, in front of Virtus Bologna (14-3). Trento sits in the sixth spot with a 9-9 record.
