Dinamo Sassari, despite the tough start of the season, manage to recover in the Italian League and their latest victory came against nonother than Olimpia Milano with 92-90 on the scoreboard, in a close affair.
David Logan and Miro Bilan were exceptional with 25 and 21 points respectively while Eimantas Bendzius added 17 and Gerald Robinson ten points. Bilan also had eight boards.
While he didn’t explode in scoring, Robinson was actually the one to seal the fate of Milano with a two-pointer at five seconds left on the clock. Sassari’s transition offense was deadly to Milano that managed to bounce back from 14 down (67-53) and had a chance to go ahead.
Malcolm Delaney scored 18 points for the losing side and was instrumental in the comeback but couldn’t make a couple of much-needed shots for Milano down the stretch. Ben Bentil was the top scorer of the team with 22.
