After parting ways with UNICS Kazan, John Brown has returned to Italy and signed a deal with Germani Brescia for the remainder of the season. He will wear the number 00 on the jersey and will be officially presented during a press conference in the coming days.
Brown had played for Virtus Roma, Treviso and Brindisi before joining UNICS for two years, making this his fourth stint in Italy with four different clubs.
Brown averaged 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and most impressively 2.8 steals over 25 Euroleague games. Brown delivered huge impact on both sides of the floor while wearing the jersey of UNICS and Brescia will expect him to do the same.
“John is a player who knows the Italian championship well, who can give us great energy from a defensive and offensive point of view and who has grown year after year, reaching the record for recovering balls in the EuroLeague. He will be able to integrate quickly into our system and he will be able to help the team to finish the season in the best possible way,” Brescia coach Alessandro Mago said.
