Already locked in the second seed of the Playoff bracket, AX Armani Exchange Milan rallied past Umana Reyer Venezia, 74-69, in the LBA Serie A Regular Season finale Sunday night.
Trey Kell, Tommaso Baldasso, and Kyle Hines shared a team-high 12 points, while Shavon Shields threw in 11 more points. Mitchell Watt put up a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double for the hosts that ended up in the fifth place in the Italian league’s standings.
Despite resting Milos Teodosic due to his recent injury, first-placed Virtus Segafredo Bologna rolled third-placed Germani Brescia, 79-57. Marco Belinelli stood out with 16 points to his name.
