In total, 12 players will miss the semifinals of the Italian Supercup. More specifically, five for Virtus Bologna (Shengelia, Teodosic, Hackett, Jaiteh, and Abass), three for Milan (Pangos, Shields, and Datome), and two each for Derthona (Macura and Tavernelli) and Dinamo Sassari (Treier and Devecchi).
The Italian basketball season begins today (28/9) in Brescia with the Italian Supercup, which puts the Scudetto winners of Milan against the runner-up Virtus Bologna (20:45 CET) and the Italian Cup runner-up Derthona against Dinamo Sassari (18:00 CET). The final will be played tomorrow at 20:45 CET.
EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Virtus Bologna will begin their EuroLeague season respectively against ASVEL (on 06/10, at 20:00 CET) and AS Monaco (on 07/10, at 20:30 CET).
