The Legabasket playoffs are underway, and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan opened it with a bang, as they defeated VL Pesaro at home 94-68.
From the very beginning, it was clear who was in control, as Ettore Messina’s team lead kept growing by the minute. It was all pretty much over already at halftime with the hosts leading 54-33.
Billy Baron led the winning side with 19 points, while Luigi Datome added 17. Shavon Shields was also in double digits with 12 points.
For Pesaro, Dejan Kravic had 13, Leonardo Tote 11, and Kwan Cheatham 10 points.
Brindisi demolished in Bologna
Virtus Segafredo Bologna players were even more convincing, as they demolished Happy Casa Brindisi 104-68.
At halftime score was 64-36 in favor of the host, so it was pretty obvious that Brindisi is in a lot of trouble. Virtus bearly slowed down in the second half, and in the end, won with a huge 36-point margin.

Isaia Cordinier led the winning side with 15 points, six assists, and five rebounds, while Samy Ojeleye added 14 points. Milos Teodosic flirted with a double-double scoring 12 points with seven assists, and so did Jordan Mickey with 10 points and eight boards, Daniel Hackett scored 11 points for the Bologna team.
In Brindisi, Marcquise Reed had 18, Nick Perkins 17 and D’Angelo Harrison 10 points.
