Shabazz Napier scored 21 points and dished out five assists as Olimpia Milano crushed Dinamo Sasari 93 – 66 on the road to sweep the Italian League semifinal series 3-0 and advance to the Finals.
Shavon Shields added 18 points while Nicolo Melli contributed 13 poins plus nine rebounds for Milano that was particularly dominant in the fourth period. Ettore Messina’s team outplayed the hosts 27 – 8 in the final quarter to turn the game into a rout and cruise to win.
Gerald Robinson (15 points) and Chris Dowe (12 points) scored in double figures for Sassari.
Milano will face the winner of the Virtus Bologna – Derthona Basket series. Virtus is up 2-0 and visiting Derthona in Game 3 Friday.
