With five players scoring in double figures, Virtus Bologna beat Napoli Basket 88 – 75 on the road to improve to 5-0 in the Italian League.
Jordan Mickey led the balanced effort by Virtus with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Marco Belinelli added 14 points, Toko Shengelia scored 12 while Awudu Abass and Alessandro Pajola pitched in 11 points apiece.
Tomislav Zubcic stood out from Napoli with 20 points and seven rebounds. Tyler Ennis delivered 16 points, Tariq Owens had 12 points plus 12 rebounds and Justin Jaworski added 12 points as well.
On Sunday (29/10), Pesaro pulled off the upset against Olimpia Milano. Reyer Venezia stayed the only other unbeaten team along with Virtus thanks to a 102 – 88 win over Varese.
