With momentum from the EuroLeague bounce-back win over Anadolu Efes, Olimpia Milano put on one of its top offensive performances this season in Italy to rout Reyer Venezia 95 – 72 at home.
Shavon Shields (19 points, six assists) and Devon Hall (19 points, five rebounds) led the way for Milano as the team moved to 5-3. Nikola Mirotic added 12 points and Giordano Bortolani had 10 points as the Red Shoes closed halftime up 44 – 26 and went on to lead even by 31 several times in the rest of the game.
Kyle Wiltjer (14 points), Aamir Sims (11 points, six rebounds) and Barry Brown (11 points) scored in double figures for Venezia, now 6-2.
This week, Milano will be traveling to Belgrade, Serbia to face Crvena Zvezda Friday (24/11) as both teams are 3-6 in EuroLeague. Venezia will be having quite the EuroCup away clash at Prometey Wednesday.
