Tortona refuses to go down and forces a decisive Game 5 against Virtus Bologna.
After losing two games on the road, Walter De Raffaele’s side won the second one at home, taking down Luca Banchi’s team 82-75 to tie the series at 2-2.
Leonardo Candi led the winning side with 15 points, while Tommaso Baldasso and Leon Radosevic scored 12 points each. Former Virtus player Kyle Weems added 10 points.
Awudu Abass’s 21 points weren’t enough for Bologna’s team, as only Isaiah Cordinier with 12 points and eight rebounds and Marco Belinelli with 11 points followed.
The winner of Game 5 (21/05) will face Venice or Reggiana in the semifinals. Venice also forced a fifth clash with a 92-95 road win over Reggiana.
