EA7 Emporio Armani Milano won in Game 1 of the Italian league semifinals against Germani Brescia with German big man Johannes Voightmann scoring 21 points, while on the other side, Amedeo Della Valle had 33 points, which was not enough.
The final score was 95-89, as Brescia stayed competitive until the end.
The hosts, however, had the advantage for most of the game and led by 14 at the start of the last period (86-72) but Brescia managed to close the gap and make the last seconds interesting after a 12-3 run (89-84).
Still, Milan held on for the win, having five more players scoring in double figures.
