Reyer Venezia came back from down 15 points in the second half and defeated Virtus Bologna 78 – 73 in the Italian League semifinals to prevent the sweep and stay alive in the series.
Jordan Parks led Venezia with 19 points plus eight rebounds while scoring the jumper that put his team up 76 – 73 with 34 seconds remaining. Aamir Simms added 17 points and Max Heidegger had 14 points.
Tornike Shengelia (17 points) and Ante Zizic (16 points) stood out from Virtus. Their team led 40 – 55 three minutes into the third quarter but Venezia made a 13 – 0 run and the game became close until the last minutes.
