Trapani is making strides. After signing Langston Galloway and booking a couple of interesting pre-season friendlies, they made another big signing.
Two-time EuroLeague champion Tibor Pleiss joins the ranks of the team that got promoted to Legabasket last summer.
“I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining Trapani Sharks. I want to help the club achieve its goals, and I can’t wait to meet my new teammates and all the fans, who I have been told are very warm. Together, we can achieve great success: let’s get to work,” Pleiss said upon signing a one-year deal.
Pleiss is the latest signing of the ambitious Trapani Sharks, who hired the experienced Jasmin Repesa as head coach and added players like Galloway, Akwasi Yeboah, and Justin Robinson.
They are set to play a couple of interesting pre-season friendlies. They are organizing a tournament that will include Partizan Belgrade, Derthona Tortona, and the Japanese club Ryukyu Golden Kings. Trapani is also set to play Olympiacos in September.
