Olimpia Milan holds on to match Brescia at 2-1

EA7 Emporio Armani Milan nearly mishandled a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter but held on to defeat Germani Brescia, 88-85, in Unipol Forum on Sunday.

Five players went into double-digit in Round 3 of Italy’s LBA UnipolSai Regular Season for the team coached by Ettore Messina. Nenad Dimitrijevic and Shavon Shields shared a team-high 15 points. Zach LeDay ended up with 13 points, Armoni Brooks registered 12 points, and David McCormack combined 11 points with seven rebounds.

On the way to 2-1 in the domestic league, Leandro Bolmaro (ankle) and Josh Nebo (groin) were left out of the lineup along with Fabien Causeur. Also, Giordano Bortolani stayed on the bench.

On the opposite end, Amedeo Della Valle recorded a game-high 19 points against his former team.

Up to 3-0 on Saturday, Virtus Segafredo Bologna beat Umana Reyer Venice, 76-68, in Palasport Taliercio. Tornike Shengelia netted 17 points.
