Virtus Segafredo Bologna took down UnaHotels Reggio Emilia, 69-57, in PalaBigi on Sunday.
Besides Tornike Shengelia and Ante Zizic remaining out, Will Clyburn was forced to an early exit midway through the first quarter due to an injury. Overcoming adversity, the Bologna-based team jumped to 10-4 in Italy’s LBA UnipolSai Regular Season, matching Trapani Shark in third place. Marco Belinelli put up a game-high 19 points and Alessandro Pajola paired ten points with a game-high eight assists.
