Virtus Segafredo Bologna is thriving under Dusko Ivanovic, significantly improving results in both the EuroLeague and Legabasket.
In Round 16 of the Italian championship, Ivanovic’s team secured their fourth straight win after defeating Cremona 81-63 at home.
Tornike Shengelia led the way for Virtus with 15 points and eight rebounds, while Marco Belinelli and Achille Polonara added 14 points each, with the Italian power forward also grabbing six rebounds and dishing five assists. Isaïa Cordinier followed with 12 points and seven boards.
On the other side, Corey Davis scored 16 points, while Tariq Owens recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Trevor Lacey followed with 11 points.
Virtus now shares a 12-4 record with Trapani, Brescia, and Trento at the top of the Legabasket standings, while Cremona remains in the danger zone with a 3-13 record.
